South Gulf Cove is located just off State Road 771 between Port Charlotte and Boca Grande. This upscale community has approximately 55 miles of navigable canals that provide access to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. All the canals converge into the Interceptor Lagoon, where boaters can run full speed towards the mouth of the Myakka River.
